Procurement Engineer
About This Role
We are a leading company specializing in interior fit-out and construction projects across the UAE. We are currently seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer/Officer with strong knowledge of local suppliers, procurement processes, and cost control within the fit-out industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for interior fit-out and construction projects
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to achieve the best value
- Prepare and issue purchase orders in line with approved budgets and project timelines
- Maintain and update supplier databases, vendor lists, and procurement records
- Coordinate with project managers, site teams, finance, and vendors to ensure the timely delivery of materials
- Review and ensure contract terms align with project requirements
- Support estimation and procurement teams as required
Requirements
- 5–7 years of procurement experience in interior fit-out or construction projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of UAE suppliers, market rates, and procurement procedures
- Experience in sourcing finishing materials, FF&E, joinery, MEP materials, and subcontractor packages
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
