Job Description:
We are looking for a driven Procurement Engineer to manage the end-to-end sourcing of technical materials, equipment, and services across our projects. You will work at the intersection of engineering and commercial operations — ensuring every purchase meets specification, budget, and schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for materials and equipment
- Issue RFQs, review bids, and conduct technical and commercial evaluations
- Collaborate with engineering teams to verify specifications and submittals
- Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts and purchase orders
- Track deliveries, resolve supply chain disruptions proactively
- Manage vendor relationships and maintain an approved supplier register
- Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE, and regulatory standards
- Maintain accurate procurement records and generate regular reports
Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
- 3–5 years of procurement or supply chain experience
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Solid understanding of engineering materials and technical specs
- Experience with tendering, contracts, and cost analysis
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple vendors and deadlines
- CIPS, CSCP, or PMP certification is a strong advantage
