QC Engineer (Procurement)

We are currently looking for an experienced QC Procurement Engineer to support major EPC oil & gas projects, ensuring that all procured materials, equipment, and services fully comply with project specifications, international standards, and quality requirements.

Your Role

As a QC Procurement Engineer , you will

• Review and approve vendor quality plans (QPs), inspection and test plans (ITPs), and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Engineering, and Construction teams to ensure quality requirements are embedded throughout the procurement cycle.
• Conduct vendor pre-qualification, audits, and inspections at manufacturers’ facilities.
• Monitor manufacturing progress and expediting activities in line with project schedules.
• Review Material Requisition (MR), Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE), and vendor drawings from a quality perspective.
• Ensure compliance with IEC, API, ASME, ASTM, ISO, and project-specific specifications.
• Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective/preventive actions.
• Support FATs, SATs, and final documentation/dossiers prior to shipment.
• Liaise with third-party inspection agencies (TPI).

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in QC/QA roles within EPC oil & gas projects.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related).
• Expertise: Strong knowledge of procurement-driven quality control and vendor surveillance. Familiarity with international codes and standards relevant to oil & gas equipment. Experience working with international vendors and suppliers. Strong communication and coordination skills. Ability to work under tight schedules in a multi-disciplinary EPC environment.
