Procurement Engineer

About This Role

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and improve operational efficiency.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with potential suppliers and vendors.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and project managers to determine technical requirements and specifications for needed materials and equipment.
• Create and distribute Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to potential vendors.
• Conduct detailed cost analyses to identify optimal procurement options within budget constraints.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable contract terms and conditions.
• Oversee the entire ordering process, from initial requisition to final delivery, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical business practices, and relevant regulations.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, invoices, and contracts.
• Stay informed about market trends and advancements in supply chain management practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Work Exprience in a Contracting Company and Landscape Industry preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge relevant to the industry
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Proficiency in data analysis and cost management
• Experience with procurement software and ERP systems
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
