Job Purpose
Carry out cleaning, preparation, grating, packing, and handling of coconut products.
Maintain required quality, hygiene, food safety, and production standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect coconuts for freshness, quality, and processing suitability.
- Clean and prepare coconuts for further processing.
- Remove coconut shells and husks safely using designated equipment and tools.
- Grate coconut according to required size, texture, and customer specifications.
- Operate coconut grating and other processing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor quality, weigh products, and pack grated coconut to specified standards.
- Seal, label, and store finished products properly.
- Maintain processing-area, equipment, tool, and work-surface cleanliness.
- Prevent contamination, foreign materials, and product mix-ups.
- Maintain proper handling and storage of raw materials and finished products.
- Report quality issues, damaged materials, equipment problems, or wastage.
- Follow production targets, maintain records, and assist with material movement when required.
Work Standards
- Follow company food safety, hygiene, HACCP, and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Maintain personal hygiene and wear the required PPE or uniform.
- Complete production, cleaning, and quality records accurately.
- Perform other processing-related duties assigned by management.
Work Location
- Work is performed in person at the Bio Green Processing Unit.
