Role Synopsis
Maintain and update cargo and ground operations manuals, procedures, and related documentation in accordance with international aviation standards, UAE GCAA regulations, and Etihad policies.
Documentation and Procedures
- Support development of the Ground Operations Manual and related safety and security documentation.
- Develop, document, and communicate aircraft handling and servicing procedures, including research for new aircraft types.
- Conduct and record gap analyses to align documentation with applicable regulations and standards.
- Update and communicate station information changes to airports and stakeholder departments.
Access, Audits, and Coordination
- Maintain and monitor documentation platform credentials for external ground operations users across the global airport network; process access requests promptly and confirm them to Airport Managers.
- Conduct user and access reviews, share statistics with Airport Managers, and coordinate access changes.
- Support regulatory, corporate, and industry audit preparation.
- Update the line manager on progress or issues related to policies, procedures, station start-ups, and ground handling provider changes.
Training and Other Duties
- Arrange and deliver ground operations training to Etihad and third-party provider personnel as operationally required and within individual training authorization.
- Support the Manager Cargo Procedures with delegated cargo documentation tasks.
Education and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Aviation Management or Business Administration.
- Previous aviation industry experience in airline or ground operations is preferred, ideally at least five years.
