We are supporting a leading enterprise technology consultancy in the search for a Principal Architect specialising in Integration & Automation.
This is a senior customer-facing architecture role focused on enterprise integration strategy, API management, event-driven architecture and automation platforms.
The successful candidate will work directly with CIOs, CTOs and Enterprise Architecture teams to design modern integration frameworks and support large-scale digital transformation programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise integration and automation architecture engagements
- Define API-first, microservices and event-driven transformation strategies
- Design enterprise integration frameworks and reference architectures
- Develop HLDs, LLDs, architecture blueprints and solution sizing documentation
- Support strategic customer engagements from technical discovery through to solution design
- Engage with CIOs, CTOs, Enterprise Architects and senior technology stakeholders
- Deliver technical workshops and architecture governance activities
- Support complex enterprise technology sales opportunities
- Build reusable reference architectures and integration best practices
Required Experience
- 10+ years of enterprise IT experience
- 7+ years in Integration Architecture, Middleware Architecture or API Architecture
- Strong experience with API Management platforms
- Strong understanding of Enterprise Integration patterns
- Experience designing Microservices-based architectures
- Experience with Event-Driven Architecture and Enterprise Messaging
- Experience supporting enterprise technology sales cycles
- Experience leading architecture workshops and customer engagements
- Experience presenting to executive and technical stakeholders

Experience
