Shape the future of AI on a global scale with a market leader!

A globally recognized industrial technology organisation is seeking an exceptional AI leader to define and execute its enterprise-wide artificial intelligence strategy.

This is a rare opportunity to build and lead a newly established Global AI Hub, influencing the future direction of a multinational business that is investing heavily in digital transformation, intelligent products, and AI-enabled services.

Reporting to executive leadership, you will be responsible for embedding AI across products, operations, customer solutions, and business functions, creating measurable commercial impact and long-term competitive advantage.

The Opportunity

  • Define and execute the organization's global AI vision, strategy and operating model.
  • Build and lead a world-class Global AI Hub, establishing the capabilities, governance and delivery frameworks required for enterprise-scale success.
  • Identify high-value AI opportunities across products, services, manufacturing, operations and customer-facing solutions.
  • Lead the development and commercialization of AI-enabled products and digital services from concept through to market launch.
  • Drive AI adoption across global business units, regional organizations and functional teams.
  • Establish robust governance covering AI ethics, data management, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance and responsible AI practices.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with leading technology providers, universities, research institutions and AI ecosystem partners.
  • Inspire cross-functional teams to accelerate innovation and deliver measurable business outcomes.

About You

  • 8+ years' experience leading AI, digital transformation, technology or innovation functions within complex global organisations.
  • A proven track record of building AI, data science or digital innovation teams from the ground up.
  • Experience delivering technology-led products, platforms or digital services that generate measurable business value.
  • Strong knowledge of modern AI and data ecosystems, including cloud platforms, MLOps, data engineering and technologies such as Databricks, Kafka or comparable enterprise platforms.
  • Deep understanding of artificial intelligence, Generative AI, machine learning and customer-centric digital product development.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence executive leadership, business units, engineering teams and external partners.
  • Experience leading geographically distributed, cross-functional teams in international environments.
  • A strategic mindset balanced with the ability to execute and deliver tangible results.
