Role overview

Supports early sales stages for prefabricated modular data center projects of medium to high technical and commercial complexity.

Uses Schneider Electric architecture and product expertise to match customer requirements and deliver differentiated solutions.

Focuses primarily on data center systems and prefabricated modular data centers.

Responsibilities

  • Understand customer business challenges, processes, needs, requirements, and constraints.
  • Support sales teams and customers as a trusted technical consultant for cross-domain segment solutions.
  • Define, customize, and create Tested, Validated & Documented Architectures (TVDA).
  • Review customer RFQs and prepare compliance, deviations, and exceptions lists.
  • Translate RFQs into technological solutions and develop technical designs for commercial proposals.
  • Coordinate internal business units during tendering and work with clients and development teams on solutions.
  • Present recommended solutions to clients and support meetings and presentations.
  • Keep up with technology developments and coordinate communications among customers, company teams, and factories.

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline; Electrical Engineering is preferred.
  • 10+ years of data center industry experience, including secure power, cooling, and electrical or mechanical installations.
  • Uptime and/or Data Center Dynamics certification, or demonstrated similar knowledge and experience.
  • C1 English fluency is required.
  • Previous customer-facing roles are preferred.

Technical knowledge and skills

  • Knowledge of Schneider Electric offers such as UPS, low-voltage panels, medium-voltage equipment, and cooling units.
  • User-level familiarity with Uninet, SE Design Portal, and ISX.
  • Familiarity with Building Information Modelling and BIM tools such as REVIT is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, customer service, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and influencing skills.
  • Able to work autonomously and proactively, make decisions, and collaborate across cultures and time zones.

Key interactions

Reports to the C&SP One Solution Technology and Engineering Center MEA.

Internal partners include Sales, Opportunity Leaders, intra-group suppliers, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Quality.

External partners include customers and outside-group suppliers.
