About Delano Dubai

Delano Dubai is bringing the Delano brand to the UAE, with a resort on Bluewaters Island.

The resort includes luxury rooms and suites, culinary and mixology venues, an oceanfront pool, and a wellness studio.

Opportunity

Seeking a hands-on Pool & Beach Manager to lead pool and beach operations and create memorable luxury guest experiences.

Guest Experience & Operations

  • Oversee daily pool and beach operations and deliver a seamless, elevated guest experience.
  • Create a welcoming atmosphere reflecting the brand's service philosophy; maintain presentation, cleanliness, comfort, and guest safety.
  • Anticipate guest needs and handle feedback with confidence and personal attention.
  • Coordinate with Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, and other operational teams.
  • Manage loungers, cabanas, reservations, guest arrivals, and peak-period operations.

People Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and inspire the pool and beach team and build a collaborative culture.
  • Oversee scheduling, training, performance, and daily briefings; identify development opportunities and support team growth.

Commercial & Operational Excellence

  • Work with Food & Beverage to maximize revenue opportunities and support guest experiences, promotions, and seasonal initiatives.
  • Monitor operations, guest feedback, and service standards to identify improvements.
  • Manage departmental resources, supplies, and operating costs responsibly.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and emergency response procedures.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a Pool & Beach Manager, Beach Club Manager, Assistant Outlet Manager, or similar leadership role within a luxury hotel, resort, or premium lifestyle venue.
  • Strong understanding of luxury pool and beach operations, guest experience, and service standards.
  • Ability to motivate teams, build relationships, and lead by example; excellent communication, interpersonal, and guest recovery skills.
  • Commercial awareness, fast-paced environment confidence, organisation, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
