PMV - Logistics Supervisor

🔹 Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive PMV / Logistics Supervisor to oversee the planning, coordination, and control of plant, machinery, vehicles (PMV), and site logistics operations. The role requires strong knowledge of construction equipment, efficient resource management, and coordination with project teams to ensure smooth site operations.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the allocation, mobilization, and demobilization of plant and machinery across project sites
• Ensure optimal utilization of equipment to meet project timelines and reduce idle time
• Coordinate logistics activities including transportation, delivery, and site movement of materials and equipment
• Monitor equipment performance, usage, and maintenance schedules
• Liaise with procurement, vendors, and subcontractors for equipment hiring and servicing
• Maintain records of equipment inventory, certifications, inspections, and permits
• Ensure all equipment complies with safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Supervise operators, drivers, and logistics staff on site
• Plan site logistics layout to ensure efficient movement and storage
• Conduct regular inspections and ensure preventive maintenance is carried out
• Support project teams with equipment selection based on operational requirements
• Prepare reports on equipment utilization, costs, and logistics performance

🔹 Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Logistics, or related field
• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in PMV / logistics within construction companies
• Strong knowledge of construction equipment (e.g., cranes, excavators, loaders, generators, etc.), understanding of site operations, sequencing, and equipment usage .
• Familiarity with safety regulations and site logistics planning
• UAE experience is must
