CSCEC Middle East is seeking a Plumbing Engineer for a large-scale hotel project in Dubai.
The role supervises plumbing, drainage, and fire-fighting works to meet approved drawings, project specifications, the construction program, quality standards, and completion targets.
Responsibilities
- Supervise plumbing, drainage, and fire-fighting works in accordance with approved shop drawings, project specifications, and the construction program.
- Monitor installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning of systems, equipment, and fittings.
- Ensure work complies with approved drawings, project specifications, consultant requirements, and applicable local authority standards.
- Review and verify shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents; review consultant designs and identify technical or coordination issues.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, MEP teams, project personnel, and other disciplines to support progress and resolve site-interface issues.
- Monitor site progress against the approved schedule and required quality standards.
- Ensure installation and testing activities are inspected and documented.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum five years of relevant experience in MEP or building-construction projects.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in plumbing, drainage, and fire-fighting systems.
- Good knowledge of shop drawings, technical specifications, inspections, testing, and site coordination.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in hotel, high-rise, or other large-scale building projects is highly preferred.
