Compensation

Experience and capabilities

- Ability to read shop drawings and specifications and accurately estimate required materials.
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and extended periods of standing and walking.
- Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and resolve issues efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a hands-on approach.
- Knowledge of making, installing, and repairing furniture and other carpentry work.
- Proficiency in measuring, cutting, and joining materials.
- Ability to follow safe work practices and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Make, install, and repair furniture and other carpentry work.
- Measure, cut, and join materials for precise work.
- Use equipment appropriately and help maintain its performance and efficiency.
- Complete all work orders diligently.
- Carry out tasks assigned by the Duty Engineer within designated timelines.
- Handle chemicals, paints, varnishes, strippers, and other finishing products using environmentally friendly practices.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests.
- Participate in monthly departmental meetings and provide feedback and suggestions for improvement.
