Role overview

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or another technical discipline; the posting also marks a bachelor's degree as required.
• The requirements state a minimum of five years in facility maintenance planning, building operations, or similar work.
• The experience section separately specifies eight years in facilities management.
• Excellent spoken and written English and good computer literacy are required.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and ISO 45001 is required; Primavera knowledge is an advantage.
• Interpersonal ability, initiative, analytical thinking, decision-making, leadership, deadline management, and multitasking are requested.

Key tasks

• Maintain an accurate asset list and plan and schedule preventive maintenance work.
• Coordinate with site staff for feedback and re-plan for ad hoc requests.
• Upload preventive maintenance schedules to CAFM and update daily CAFM information.
• Analyze pending work and follow up with Engineering and Maintenance.
• Prepare monthly PPM schedules for subcontractors and distribute schedules to vendors through Engineering and Maintenance.
• Conduct service and CAFM audits and follow site standard operating procedures.
• Generate, collate, and submit weekly and monthly reports.
• Provide technical advice and solutions to clients, and improve efficiency continuously.
• Provide emergency support when required and enforce safety measures among subordinates.

Operational accountabilities

• Assist with planning, coordinating, and controlling operational activities according to the operating plan and programs.
• Assist with operational execution under the contract documents.
• Monitor service-order closure progress and other arising issues.

Compensation

• The posting lists pay from QAR 1.00 per month.

Workplace and employment

• The role is full-time and permanent.
• Work location is in person.
