Full-time, on-site Planning Engineer role located in Abu Dhabi.
The role creates and manages project plans, monitors progress, ensures schedule adherence, and implements project controls.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Monitor contractor and subcontractor progress and prepare weekly or monthly reports with graphs and critical path analysis.
- Identify delays, deviations, and risks, and recommend corrective actions to clients and management.
- Conduct site visits to verify progress and validate schedule compliance.
- Support delay analysis, claims assessment, and evaluation of variations.
- Coordinate with project teams, clients, and contractors to support timely communication and effective coordination.
- Maintain accurate schedules, reports, and supporting documentation for project audits and closeout.
- Analyze project data and communicate updates to align project goals with timelines and resources.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and strong proficiency in Primavera P6.
- At least 10 years of construction experience, including at least five years in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- Experience working in an engineering consultancy; mega-project experience is highly preferred.
- Candidates must currently be in the UAE and hold a UAE driving license.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
