Company Description
SDV Consulting Engineers provides engineering, project management, and project development services, including FEED, EPCM, PMC, commissioning, and advisory services.
The company serves industrial sectors including manufacturing and processing, energy, hydrogen plants, cold stores, and specialty facilities.
Responsibilities
- Review shop drawings, calculations, material submittals, contractor pre-qualification submittals, and other construction submittals for project compliance.
- Monitor execution of works and maintain complete records.
- Inspect site work and sample and test materials against contract specifications.
- Review contractor method statements and technical queries and provide comments.
- Carry out final inspections for completion certification and handover.
- Inspect on-site and off-site materials and organize field and laboratory tests by others to determine compliance and suitability.
- Ensure statutory authority NOCs, permits, and design approvals are available on site.
- Process work and material inspection requests daily.
- Monitor construction activities for specification and quality compliance and oversee quality control procedures.
- Verify material quality and maintain records, back-charge procedures, and progress reports.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; degree certificate must be attested.
- Equivalency certificate is highly preferred.
- 5–10 years of experience in industrial projects.
- Able to manage and coordinate a specialized activity, discipline, or moderately sized and complex team.
- Proactive in resolving issues.
- Must currently be in the UAE and hold a UAE driving license.
Additional Qualifications
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Team player with excellent communication skills and ability to engage with engineers, contractors, and clients.
- ADM registration is preferred.
- TAQA approval is advantageous.
