Role responsibilities
- Conduct and attend site quality inspections, including surveillance, witness points, hold points, and quality audits.
- Review quality plans, ITPs, test reports, prequalification documents, testing and commissioning plans, and handover documents.
- Participate in inspection tests and monitor construction for compliance with project quality requirements and standards.
- Support quality control records and reports; report inspections, quality issues, and progress updates to the Construction Supervisor.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of construction experience, including at least 3 years as a Civil Site Inspector in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance processes and construction standards; experience with quality documentation and inspection processes.
- Experience working in an engineering consultancy.
- Civil inspection experience with steel structures or industrial buildings is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills; familiarity with UAE regulations and project requirements.
- UAE driving license is mandatory.
