Proficient is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer for an oil and gas construction project in Abu Dhabi.
Experience and availability
- At least five years of relevant Planning Engineer experience is required.
- Immediate joiners only.
- Candidates with their own visa are preferred.
Required qualifications
- Experience in oil and gas construction projects is required.
- Professional proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential.
- Strong project scheduling, progress monitoring, and reporting knowledge is required.
- Good communication, analytical, and coordination skills are required.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Monitor progress against approved plans and milestones; prepare progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and planning updates.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and other departments.
- Identify potential delays, schedule deviations, and critical-path activities.
- Support forecasting, resource planning, and recovery schedules; keep reports and schedules accurate and current.
Work arrangement
- Work location is in person in Abu Dhabi.
