Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
- Develop production plans based on customer orders and demand forecasts.
- Ensure production capacity aligns with customer requirements.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to meet deadlines.
- Verify raw material availability before releasing work orders.
- Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Monitor inventory levels to avoid material shortages and excess stock.
- Optimize production schedules and resource utilization to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in production planning and material planning.
- Strong knowledge of production scheduling, inventory management, and demand forecasting.
- Excellent coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering field.
- Experience in production planning, material planning, and manufacturing operations.
- Knowledge of production scheduling, inventory control, demand forecasting, and capacity planning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics is an advantage.
