Role description
Full-time, on-site Pediatrician - GP - DHA role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Provides comprehensive primary care to infants, children, and adolescents, including routine check-ups, diagnosis and management of common pediatric conditions, and preventive care.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient histories, perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe treatments, and monitor patient progress.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff; communicate with families and caregivers; maintain accurate records and participate in case discussions.
- Promote pediatric health education and wellness, and adhere to DHA regulations and clinical guidelines.
Qualifications
- Clinical expertise in Medicine and Primary Care, including management of a broad range of general health conditions.
- Pediatrics skills in growth and development monitoring, vaccination programs, and pediatric disease management.
- Experience or training in Neonatology, particularly newborn and infant assessment and care.
- Ability to work with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Valid DHA license or eligibility for DHA licensure as a General Practitioner or Pediatrician in Dubai.
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree, with completed residency or relevant postgraduate training in pediatrics or family medicine.
- Strong empathetic communication with children, families, and caregivers; commitment to ethical practice, professional development, and evidence-based guidelines.
