Role Overview
Luxury automotive showroom in Dubai seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Accountant or Payroll Officer.
The role covers payroll processing, accounting, UAE WPS, employee settlements, and payroll reconciliation.
Compensation and Employment
- Salary is stated as AED 7,000 per month.
- The pay range is AED 6,000 to AED 7,000 per month.
- Employment type is full-time.
Workplace and Joining
- Work location is in person in Dubai, UAE.
- Immediate or short-notice joining is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage monthly payroll and calculate salaries, allowances, overtime, deductions, leave adjustments, and benefits.
- Process payroll through the UAE Wages Protection System and maintain confidential employee records.
- Reconcile payroll accounts with accounting records and bank statements.
- Coordinate with HR on joiners, resignations, salary changes, leave, and other employee updates.
- Prepare final settlements and end-of-service calculations under UAE regulations.
- Handle payroll queries, resolve discrepancies, and prepare payroll-related reports.
- Support monthly closing, accounting activities, and internal or external audits.
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor, payroll, and accounting requirements.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Accountant, Payroll Officer, or similar professional.
- Strong knowledge of UAE payroll procedures, WPS, accounting principles, reconciliation, and employee settlements.
- Excellent MS Excel skills; accounting or payroll software experience is advantageous.
- Strong numerical, analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Accuracy, integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail are required.
- UAE experience is preferred.
