Oversee daily housekeeping operations within a healthcare facility.
Maintain a safe and hygienic environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Supervise housekeeping across patient rooms, wards, corridors, and public areas.
- Monitor staff schedules, attendance, and performance.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, HSE, and hospital cleaning standards.
- Oversee terminal cleaning, waste management, and proper PPE use.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment inventory.
- Train staff on cleaning procedures, chemical safety, hygiene protocols, color-coding systems, and patient room etiquette.
- Coordinate with nursing and facilities teams to resolve operational issues.
- Maintain shift handover logs, incident reports, and audit scores for management.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of housekeeping supervisory experience in a hospital or healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of infection control, terminal cleaning, and healthcare sanitation standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Healthcare audit experience such as JCI or MOH is advantageous.
Pay
- AED 2,500–3,000 per month.
