Painting and finishing duties
- Apply paint, stain, and other finishes to property walls, ceilings, and furniture using brushes, spray guns, or rollers.
- Apply primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces for finish coats; remove old finishes by stripping, sanding, wire brushing, burning, or water or abrasive blasting.
- Protect surfaces during painting, post paint signs, and clean and store tools and equipment appropriately.
- Coordinate with vendors to modify paint, stain, or varnish colors.
General duties
- Follow company, safety, and security policies; report maintenance problems, hazards, accidents, or injuries and complete safety training and certifications.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and meet quality standards.
- Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and communicate professionally.
- Support team goals and perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.
Preferred qualifications
- Technical, trade, or vocational school degree is preferred.
- At least one year of related work experience is preferred.
- No supervisory experience is required; no license or certification is listed.
Physical requirements
- Reach overhead and below the knees; bend, twist, pull, stoop, and move up and down a ladder.
- Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight; move, lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
