Position summary
- Meet group coordinators or hosts before functions, make introductions, and confirm that arrangements are satisfactory.
- Review banquet event orders to gather guest information and determine setup, timelines, special needs, buffets, and action stations.
- Respond to special banquet event arrangements and try to fulfill them; follow up to ensure compliance.
Service, standards, and physical duties
- Follow company, safety, and security policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions; and complete safety training and certifications.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and meet quality standards.
- Welcome guests, anticipate and address service needs, and communicate professionally with guests and colleagues.
- Build positive working relationships and support the team in reaching common goals.
- The role involves extended standing, sitting, or walking; handling objects up to 25 pounds; moving through varied spaces and surfaces; and bending, reaching, and stooping.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
- No supervisory experience is specified.
- No license or certification is specified.
