Pay
- Pay is $31.00–$34.47 per hour.
Shifts
- The position is for afternoon and night shifts.
Qualifications
- A two-year Automation and Robotics certificate is required.
- A minimum of 3–5 years of related experience with automated spray equipment and robots is required.
- Knowledge of paint materials, paint delivery systems, mechanical equipment, and down-draft paint applications is required.
- Excellent spoken and written English, critical thinking, problem-solving, analytical skills, and computer literacy are required.
Main duties
- Troubleshoot and maintain paint machinery and equipment, including calibration of bell applicators, and implement preventive maintenance.
- Observe and support production-line robots; review robot movement and paint-delivery parameters to improve quality and paint consumption.
- Conduct root-cause analysis, reset robotic failures and KV, Flow, and Limits issues, and document failures.
- Review production pareto data and support improvements to yield, quality, downtime, customer and warranty concerns, and related costs.
- Work with maintenance on spray equipment, robot-control problems, and continuous improvements.
- Test new products and equipment; participate in production, yield, and utilization meetings.
- Follow health, safety, and environmental rules while performing work.
