Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Oversee outlet operations, service delivery, brand standards, and guest satisfaction.
• Guide and train team members; assist with scheduling, evaluations, and task delegation.
• Address guest needs and resolve service issues promptly.
• Monitor stock of equipment, supplies, and consumables; ensure proper use and timely requisitions.
• Maintain cleanliness and compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Train staff on menu items, service procedures, and upselling.
• Assist with cash handling, closing procedures, billing, and accurate POS entries.
• Coordinate with kitchen, bar, and other departments; relay guest feedback.
• Maintain outlet presentation, table setups, service equipment, and staff appearance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a hospitality qualification is an advantage.
• At least two years of supervisory experience in a luxury hotel or fine-dining outlet.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and guest-relations skills.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures and standards.
• Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer applications.
• Able to manage a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining service quality.
• Flexible to work shifts, including weekends and holidays; able to stand for extended periods and handle physical tasks.

Compliance and sustainability

• Promote resource efficiency, waste reduction, and environmental, social, and ethical initiatives aligned with hotel ESG and CSR objectives.
• Ensure compliance with local legal requirements, international and ISO standards, health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry practices.
• Oversee food safety and hygiene across purchasing, storage, handling, maintenance, communication, and preparation.
