Lead development, positioning, and delivery of operational technology cybersecurity systems and solutions.
Oversee technical development, pre-sales, and solution engineering to provide technically sound, competitive, and scalable offerings.
Technical development and pre-sales
- Oversee OT cybersecurity solution development and review or approve proofs of concept and technical designs.
- Ensure customized solutions reflect project and site requirements; guide vendor evaluation and technology selection.
- Oversee technical inputs to RFPs, proposals, and tenders, ensuring technical compliance and accurate offers.
- Support technical workshops, presentations, and customer engagements; review scope, assumptions, and technical risks during bids.
Engineering and vendor management
- Oversee site surveys and technical risk assessments and transition solutions from pre-sales into project execution.
- Coordinate with project teams on system integration and review or resolve complex implementation issues.
- Manage OT cybersecurity vendor and technology-partner relationships and approve tools, platforms, and solution components.
- Ensure vendor solutions align with customer and project requirements.
Leadership and business accountability
- Lead OT cybersecurity technical, engineering, and pre-sales teams; define competencies and skill development needs.
- Recruit and develop high performers, address low performance, and support delegation, organizational structure, and succession planning.
- Develop business plans from corporate goals, monitor performance, take corrective action, and provide progress reports.
- Monitor and control budgets and expenses; improve written processes and seek automation opportunities.
- Promote quality, adapt to changes, and ensure a safe, secure, and legal work environment.
Education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Software Development or a relevant field.
- 10–15 years of work experience.
Additional management expectations
Take responsibility for operational deliverables, anticipate problems, and make timely decisions.
Deliver results on time with required quality and cost, and make a tangible difference to the area of operation.
