Job Purpose

Drive adoption of Agile and Scrum across IT and digital transformation initiatives to improve delivery, team performance, continuous improvement, and organizational Agile maturity.

Agile Implementation and Delivery

  • Lead adoption of Agile and Scrum practices, frameworks, tools, and standards; establish Scrum processes and support teams transitioning to Agile.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and sprint execution; monitor progress, backlog delivery, capacity, risks, dependencies, and impediments.
  • Work with Product Owners and delivery teams on backlog management, prioritization, and refinement; maintain transparent delivery updates.

Coaching and Performance

  • Coach Scrum teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders; promote collaboration, self-organization, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Resolve team, process, and organizational impediments and mentor Scrum Masters and Agile practitioners as needed.
  • Track Agile metrics, analyze delivery trends, maintain dashboards, and report to leadership and stakeholders.

Tools and Transformation

  • Support Agile tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps; standardize workflows, templates, and reporting; lead retrospectives and improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate across business and technology teams and manage dependencies across Agile teams and workstreams.
  • Assess Agile maturity and contribute to enterprise transformation, governance improvements, playbooks, training materials, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Management Sciences and Systems or a relevant field.
  • 6 to 10 years of work experience.
  • Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job.
  • Technical and functional competencies include application system analysis and application system design.

General Accountability

Deliver planned activities on schedule and use resources efficiently to meet operational and development targets.

Report deviations and progress, solve operational problems, and escalate complex issues.

Maintain quality controls and processes, improve written procedures and systems, and comply with policies and work instructions.

Follow applicable health, safety, environmental, and quality controls.
