ZIA Medical Center is seeking an optometrist for its Ophthalmology Department.
The role is full-time and in person.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations, vision testing, refraction, and other optometric assessments.
- Provide appropriate patient care, education, and follow-up.
- Prepare and complete medical reports and clinical documentation in a timely manner.
- Respond professionally to patient queries about ophthalmology and optometry.
- Coordinate with ophthalmologists and other clinical staff to ensure continuity of patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with DHA regulations and clinic policies.
- Provide optometric support and coverage during medical camps, corporate events, health awareness programs, and other clinic events.
- Support the Ophthalmology Department during busy periods and perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Optometry or equivalent.
- Valid DHA license or eligibility.
- Previous experience in a medical center, hospital, or ophthalmology/optometry clinic is preferred.
- Strong clinical, communication, and patient-care skills.
- Good documentation and report-writing abilities.
- Professional, patient-focused approach and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 4,000–5,000 per month.
License note
