Role overview

Commercial and stakeholder management

• Work with facilities leadership on property and supplier improvement plans.
• Support service charge budgeting, expenditure reporting and identification of capital expenditure.
• Build client, occupier, colleague and community relationships; conduct occupier meetings.
• Identify business opportunities, produce operational reports and follow procurement policy.
• Manage key contract relationships to deliver quality and value.

Property operations and quality

• Inspect the property and ensure observations are actioned within suitable timescales.
• Coordinate site operations and suppliers delivering planned and reactive works.
• Work with service providers to achieve client KPIs and apply company standards.
• Support tenant move-in and move-out operational transitions.

Compliance and risk

• Control property activities in line with site rules and lease agreements; maintain property records and asset information.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental compliance and maintain related management-system records.
• Monitor contracts and purchase orders, support crisis-management planning and liaise with authorities.
• Manage property risks, insurance matters and compliance for major works.

Experience and qualifications

• Experience in facilities management or a service-driven environment.
• Experience managing hard services contracts and demonstrating technical knowledge.
• Experience working with or for a managing agent and delivering agreed targets.
• Ability to analyse data, recommend solutions and work with diverse internal and external contacts.
• IOSH or NEBOSH accredited.
