Role Overview
SAKA Group of Companies is a UAE-based group seeking an experienced Operations Manager.
The role connects management with all departments to improve coordination, accountability, systems usage, and timely completion of work.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily staff task reports and follow up on missing reports, stalled tasks, and delays.
- Hold review meetings with department heads and engineers to track progress, deadlines, and blockers.
- Own company systems internally, gather user feedback, and coordinate issue fixes with partners.
- Track department KPIs, tender follow-ups, response times, and project milestones.
- Prepare monthly performance reports for management.
- Track tender inquiries, submissions, and client follow-ups through completion.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, HR, and accounts to remove bottlenecks.
- Develop standard operating procedures and document key company workflows.
- Document repeated delays and escalate performance issues to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in operations, project coordination, or project controls.
- Hands-on experience with Odoo or a similar ERP system.
- Experience rolling out systems or processes and gaining team adoption.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills for managing multiple departments.
- Firm but respectful communication style and confidence holding people accountable.
- Advanced Excel skills with experience building reports and dashboards.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- UAE construction or MEP sector experience is preferred.

- The role is performed in person.
