Operations Executive (Freight Forwarding)

About This Role

We are looking for an Operations Executive to manage day-to-day logistics operations and ensure full control over shipments from booking to final delivery. This role is focused on execution, coordination, and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Full coordination of shipments (import, export, and transit) from booking to final delivery
• Handling transit shipments via UAE (airport/warehouse), including coordination of re-export processes
• Communication with shippers, agents, carriers, and transporters to arrange and control shipments
• Organizing transportation, including sourcing trucks and coordinating deliveries
• Monitoring shipment status and ensuring timely execution at every stage
• Providing clear and timely updates to clients and internal teams
• Preparation and verification of all shipping documentation (BL, AWB, invoices, packing list, COO, etc.)
• Handling customs clearance processes, including transit procedures, and ensuring compliance with UAE regulations
• Working with systems such as Mirsal 2, Dubai Trade, and Calogi (if applicable)
• Creating and maintaining job files in the system
• Entering and updating all operational data, including costs and invoices, in a timely manner
• Identifying and resolving operational issues, delays, or discrepancies
• Coordinating with internal departments (sales, finance, warehouse) to ensure smooth workflow

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in freight forwarding operations in UAE
• Strong knowledge of import/export and transit cargo handling (air and sea required)
• Practical experience with transit shipments via UAE is a strong advantage
• Hands-on experience with customs processes, including re-export and transit documentation
• Familiarity with UAE systems (Mirsal 2, Dubai Trade, Calogi is a plus)
• Ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously without losing control
• Strong attention to detail and responsibility for accuracy
• Good communication skills with partners, clients, and internal teams
• Ability to work under pressure and handle urgent shipments

• Ongoing shipments must always be treated as top priority
• Fast response time is critical, especially for urgent operational matters
• The role requires full ownership of shipments, not just task execution
• Any delays, lack of updates, or missing information are not acceptable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
