Role Overview
The Operations Assistant oversees day-to-day operations of fit-out and interior projects from commencement to handover.
The role is responsible for timely delivery, quality workmanship, cost control, resource management, and compliance with company and client requirements.
Project Operations
- Oversee execution of fit-out and interior projects through handover.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
- Monitor project schedules, progress, and resource allocation.
Team and Resource Management
- Manage site engineers, supervisors, foremen, and labor teams.
- Coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials across projects.
- Ensure workforce productivity and operational efficiency.
Client and Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers regarding project requirements and progress.
- Attend project meetings, provide operational updates, and resolve project-related issues and client concerns.
Procurement and Cost Control
- Coordinate with procurement and stores to ensure timely material availability.
- Monitor project costs and assist in controlling operational expenses.
- Review variations, quotations, and subcontractor performance.
Quality, Safety, and Reporting
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and project specifications.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations across project sites.
- Conduct site inspections, implement corrective actions, and prepare weekly and monthly reports.
- Track KPIs, productivity, budgets, and completion milestones, and recommend process improvements.
Requirements
- Two years of operations management experience is required.
- Two years of fit-out experience is required.
- A UAE driver's license is required.
Compensation and Package
- Salary is AED 5,500 to AED 6,000 per month.
- The package includes salary, incentive, and visa provision.
Workplace
- Work is performed in person and involves project sites and fit-out operations.
