Full-time, non-management Loss Prevention Lead Officer role at the Doha property; the posting describes hotel-based duties and is not remote.
Responsibilities
- Audit key control, monitor electronic key cabinets, issue and receive passes, radios, and beepers, and safeguard them.
- Patrol the hotel, assist guests with room access, and monitor CCTV and alarm systems.
- Respond to emergencies, contact emergency services or provide first aid/CPR as appropriate, and assist guests and employees.
- Notify appropriate people about incidents, defuse disturbances, call for outside help when necessary, and use proper response codes.
- Complete incident reports and daily shift summaries while maintaining document confidentiality.
- Address hazards, escort unwelcome people from the hotel, and respond to vehicle accidents or thefts.
- Prepare medical-treatment paperwork and type, proofread, and copy security reports.
- Help train and motivate employees, serve as a role model, assign duties, and ensure timely task completion.
- Follow security policies and training requirements, report hazards and incidents, protect assets and confidential information, and meet quality standards.
- Welcome guests, communicate professionally, listen to concerns, and support team goals.
Recommended qualifications and physical duties
- A secondary-school diploma or equivalent is recommended; no related or supervisory experience and no permit or certification are required.
- Duties require reading and visually checking information, inspecting equipment, and using computers or point-of-sale systems.
- The work involves extended standing, sitting, or walking; rapid movement; lifting up to 50 pounds independently and heavier loads with assistance; and navigating stairs, uneven surfaces, and confined spaces.
