Role Overview
Design and produce marketing materials including advertisements, signage, image sequence pieces, brochures and electronic presentations that reflect brand image and style to increase hotel revenue.
Work with marketing managers and related operational departments as part of a team providing design and conceptual solutions.
Responsibilities
- Maintain familiarity with customer demographics and develop appropriate look and feel for all promotions and event-related materials.
- Control the progress of all projects, including maintaining project files and archives, and facilitate ongoing communication with the marketing/project team on status updates.
- Execute various aspects of production including printing, scanning, digital retouching, image editing, special effects, and file manipulation and layout.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, maintain a clean and professional appearance, and protect company information and assets.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guest service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language, prepare and review written documents accurately and on time, and answer phones using appropriate etiquette.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships, support the team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to other employees' concerns.
- Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 10 pounds (4.5 kg) or less without assistance, and stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
Desirable Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from an accredited university or institute.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in graphic design.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No license or certification required.
