Full-time, non-management Loss Prevention Officer role at the Doha property; the position is not remote.
Responsibilities
- Audit key control, monitor electronic key boxes, issue and receive keys, radios, and beepers, and safeguard these items.
- Patrol the property, assist guests with room access, and monitor CCTV and alarm systems.
- Respond to accidents and emergencies; contact emergency services or provide first aid/CPR as needed, and assist guests and employees.
- Notify appropriate people of incidents, defuse disturbances, call for outside assistance when necessary, and use proper response codes.
- Complete incident reports and shift summaries; maintain confidentiality of reports and documents.
- Address hazards, escort unwelcome persons from the property, and respond to vehicle accidents or thefts.
- Provide medical-treatment paperwork and type, proofread, and copy security reports.
- Assist management with training and motivation, model appropriate conduct, assign tasks, and ensure timely completion.
- Follow company policies, report accidents and unsafe conditions, protect assets and confidential information, and meet quality standards.
- Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, communicate professionally, and support colleagues and team goals.
Preferred qualifications and physical duties
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred; no related or supervisory experience is required, and no license or certification is listed.
- Some states may have additional licensing or registration requirements.
- Duties require reading and visually checking information, inspecting equipment, and using computers or point-of-sale systems.
- The role requires extended standing, sitting, or walking; rapid movement; lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance and over 75 pounds with assistance; and navigating stairs, uneven surfaces, and confined spaces.
