Supports dermatologists and nursing staff in delivering patient care in a dermatology setting.
Assists with dermatologic procedures, patient education, and clinical operations while maintaining a safe, clean, professional environment.
Clinical support
- Assist with dermatologic and aesthetic procedures, including biopsies, laser treatments, chemical peels, and cryotherapy.
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, including positioning and explaining steps to reduce anxiety.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and supplies according to infection control protocols.
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, and post-procedure care under supervision.
Patient care and clinic operations
- Monitor patient comfort and report concerns or reactions to the supervising nurse or physician.
- Provide skincare, aftercare, and medication-use education as directed; assist with intake, medical histories, and vital signs.
- Maintain patient records, manage dermatology supply inventory, assist with scheduling and patient flow, and coordinate follow-up appointments.
- Comply with clinic policies, safety standards, and confidentiality requirements.
Qualifications
- CNA or equivalent qualification; a Nursing Assistant Certificate is required.
- Dermatology, cosmetic, or aesthetic clinic experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of dermatologic procedures, tools, and skincare products is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Workplace and employment
- Full-time role based in Abu Dhabi; work is in person.
