Lead and manage the nursing team in patient-centric, evidence-based care, operational efficiency, and positive patient experiences.
Key responsibility areas
- Provide strong leadership and management guidance to the team.
- Ensure evidence-based patient care follows clinical standards.
- Develop employees and create an environment supporting team engagement and positive patient experiences.
- Manage clinical and non-clinical resources cost-effectively to enhance safe patient care.
- Monitor compliance with legislative, regulatory, and clinical standards and support continuous quality improvement.
Required education and experience
- Essential: Bachelor's degree in Nursing from a recognised or accredited Nursing Institute.
- Desired: Master of Science in Nursing or a related healthcare field.
- Essential: At least 3–5 years of senior nursing experience, preferably in a private hospital.
- Desired: 5–10 years of senior nursing experience managing an Operating Theatre Complex, including OT, Endoscopy, and CSSD.
Required job skills and knowledge
- Ability to implement the five stages of the Scientific Nursing Process: assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation, and evaluation.
- Presentation skills; UAE Labour Law; computer literacy and MS Office proficiency.
- Cost management principles; nursing functional competence; effective meeting management.
- Quality management, governance, and risk management standards and best practice.
- Ability to demonstrate and assess relevant clinical procedures.
- Stock control principles and management; UAE healthcare regulatory framework and related requirements.
- Workforce planning and scheduling.
