Role overview

Experience and qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in NOC operations, network monitoring, or telecom/construction project coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field.
• CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or an equivalent certification is preferred.

Monitoring and coordination

• Monitor live site status using NOC systems, dashboards, and monitoring tools.
• Track project progress, connectivity, alarms, and operational alerts.
• Coordinate with field engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and project teams to resolve issues.
• Follow up on site activities to support timely completion against project schedules.

Incident and fault management

• Identify, record, and report network faults, system failures, and service interruptions.
• Escalate critical incidents and monitor resolution through timely closure of service requests.
• Maintain accurate records of downtime, incidents, and corrective actions.

Reporting and documentation

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on site status, outages, incidents, and work progress.
• Maintain work orders, alarms, incident logs, communication updates, project status, and escalation details in relevant systems.
• Submit accurate operational reports on time.

Technical support and troubleshooting

• Provide basic technical support to field teams for connectivity, network access, and system issues.
• Monitor NOC tools and systems and coordinate technical problems with IT and Network teams.
• Help identify recurring faults and implement preventive measures.

Compliance and performance

• Follow SOPs and escalation matrices and support compliance with SLAs, KPIs, and project performance requirements.
• Assist in planning and coordinating preventive maintenance.
• Maintain clear stakeholder communication and escalate operational issues promptly.

Technical skills

• Knowledge of PRTG, SolarWinds, Zabbix, or other network monitoring tools.
• Understanding of network infrastructure, communication systems, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with fiber-optic networks, telecom infrastructure, and related civil works.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of incident management, fault tracking, and escalation procedures.

• Strong communication and coordination skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Effective problem-solving, follow-up, and organizational skills; proactive and team-oriented.
• Ability to work under pressure and in rotational shifts, if required.
