Join a digital transformation programme for a global fashion retailer, building technology for a business-critical content production and delivery platform.
The programme develops a scalable, data-driven ecosystem for creating, managing, and delivering digital imagery, video, and content across markets.
Responsibilities
- Build and evolve applications using .NET Core, React, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with analysts, product stakeholders, and engineers to break feature requirements into backlog items.
- Improve existing codebases and platforms and deliver new features.
- Promote scalable, maintainable engineering practices and support quality software delivery.
- Mentor junior colleagues, share technical knowledge, and help the team meet sprint goals.
Skills and experience
- Broad technology experience is sought, ideally including .NET Core (C#), ASP.NET Core, Cosmos DB, SQL, Azure Service Bus, AKS, and React/Node.js.
- Knowledge of agentic and vibe coding practices is sought.
- Understand application lifecycle, quality assurance, database engineering, and build and deployment.
- Understand layered architecture and be able to model business domains.
- Relevant delivery practices include DDD, TDD, BDD, integration and performance testing, CQRS, event sourcing, event storming, CI, continuous delivery, and build automation.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, UI frameworks, web technologies, relational and non-relational databases, and cloud platforms is sought; Microsoft Azure is ideal.
