Coordinate engineering and maintenance requests and work across multiple properties and departments.
Coordination and purchasing
- Use telecommunications devices to coordinate responses to maintenance requests and resolve issues.
- Coordinate rooms needing maintenance to be taken out of order.
- Schedule work with other departments during major system shutdowns, repairs, or improvements.
- Maintain purchase-order logs, file paid orders, and verify that orders match packing slips.
Service and administrative duties
- Follow safety and security policies, report maintenance problems and hazards, and complete safety training.
- Provide guest service, communicate professionally, and maintain positive working relationships.
- Prepare and review written documents, answer telephones, and use computers or point-of-sale systems to enter and retrieve work information.
- Inspect tools and equipment and meet quality expectations.
Preferred qualifications
- At least two years of related work experience is preferred.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- No supervisory experience, license, or certification is listed.
Schedule and location
- Full-time role at the Sheraton location in Dubai; the posting states the role is not remote.
