Function: Sales, Channel & Business Development

Reporting To: Regional Business Head – Cloud / Microsoft (P&L Owner)

Role Purpose

The Regional Execution Lead – Microsoft CSP is responsible for driving Microsoft CSP revenue growth across the Africa region through disciplined sales execution, channel expansion, partner enablement, and operational rigor.

The role requires a high-intensity execution leader with strong command over cadence, pipeline, partners, pricing, and forecasting.

• Revenue Targets (Primary KPI)

  • Channel Breadth expansion and partner activation
  • Partner productivity and pipeline contribution
  • Gross customer adds and seat growth
  • Renewals, recapture, and churn control
  • Pipeline coverage, quality, and conversion

• Revenue Ownership & Sales Execution

Own and deliver regional Microsoft CSP revenue targets.

Drive forecast accuracy, pipeline hygiene, and revenue predictability.

Personally engage on priority deals and unblock execution bottlenecks.

• Channel Breadth & Business Development

  • Drive partner onboarding, activation, and scaling.
  • Expand CSP channel footprint across Africa and ensure partners consistently acquire, grow, and renew customers.
  • Top Partner Engagement & Joint Business Planning
  • Lead strategic CSP partner relationships.
  • Drive Joint Business Plans covering revenue targets, pipeline, customer acquisition, and renewals.
  • Run monthly and quarterly execution cadence.

• Microsoft Field & PSS Alignment

Engage regularly with Microsoft PSS and field teams to ensure deal alignment, pipeline inspection, and co-sell execution.

• Pipeline Governance & Operating Cadence

Run weekly revenue and pipeline reviews.

Track deal progression, renewal risk, and recovery actions.

Enforce execution discipline across regions.

• Team Leadership & Execution Discipline

Lead and drive Assistant Product Managers and Brand Sales Managers.

Ensure teams focus on high-impact partners and deals with strict accountability.

• Pricing Ownership & Commercial Discipline

Own regional CSP pricing execution including discount governance and renewal pricing.

Partner closely with business leadership on strategic pricing decisions.

• Renewals, Recapture & Churn Management

Drive proactive renewal execution and recapture motions.

Minimize revenue leakage through early intervention.

Experience & Profile

  • 8–12+ years in Microsoft CSP, cloud distribution, or partner ecosystem roles. Proven experience owning revenue targets, channel expansion, and multi-country execution. Strong sales, partner management, and execution mindset.

• First 90-Day Expectations

  • Establish execution cadence. Finalize top-partner JBPs. Lock pipeline governance. Deliver early revenue, partner activation, and renewal wins.
