MEP Supervisor

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily MEP installation, maintenance, and repair work.
• Lead and monitor technicians to ensure safe, efficient work meeting required standards.
• Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other MEP systems.
• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance work.
• Review requirements, allocate manpower, and monitor progress.
• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance follows approved schedules.
• Coordinate with engineers, facilities teams, contractors, and suppliers.
• Check site work against drawings, specifications, method statements, and safety requirements.
• Resolve technical issues to minimize equipment downtime.
• Maintain work reports, maintenance records, checklists, and documentation.
• Monitor tools, equipment, spare parts, and materials and report needs to management.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe practices; assist with emergency breakdowns and corrective maintenance.

Qualifications and requirements

• Diploma or relevant technical training certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Trade, or a related field.
• Proven hands-on MEP installation and maintenance experience; two years as an MEP Supervisor is required.
• UAE driving license is required.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building services.
• Gulf experience is presented as both mandatory and preferred; the preferred-candidate profile also describes it as preferred.
• Troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, team-management, Microsoft Office, reporting, and maintenance-record skills.
• Ability to supervise technicians and coordinate multiple maintenance activities; strong HSE knowledge.
• Immediate joining is preferred.
