MEP Supervisor

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily MEP installation, maintenance, repair, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Lead technicians and maintenance staff; allocate manpower and monitor work progress.
• Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other MEP systems.
• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance follows approved schedules.
• Coordinate with engineers, facilities teams, contractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor compliance with drawings, specifications, method statements, and safety requirements.
• Resolve technical issues to reduce equipment downtime.
• Maintain reports, maintenance records, checklists, and documentation.
• Monitor tools, equipment, spare parts, and materials; report requirements to management.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe working practices; assist with emergency breakdowns.

Qualifications and requirements

• Diploma or relevant technical training certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Trade, or a related field.
• Proven hands-on experience in MEP installation and maintenance; two years as an MEP Supervisor is required.
• Previous MEP Team Leader or Maintenance Supervisor experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building services.
• Gulf experience is described as mandatory/preferred in the source.
• Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and team-management skills.
• Good command of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
• Ability to prepare reports, maintenance schedules, checklists, and work records.
• Strong knowledge of HSE and safe working practices.
• UAE driving licence required; immediate availability is preferred.

Workplace and employment

• Full-time role with in-person work location.

Compensation

• Pay range: AED 5,000–6,000 per month.
