Oversee the lifecycle of MEP systems for a large-scale construction project, from pre-construction design coordination through testing, commissioning, and handover.
Manage subcontractors, budgets, quality, engineering standards, and safety compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Lead execution, site supervision, and commissioning of MEP and ELV building systems.
- Develop schedules, resource plans, and milestones for on-time project delivery.
- Track costs against budgets, review BOQs, and manage variations.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and local authorities.
- Review engineering drawings and technical submissions using AutoCAD.
- Inspect installations for code, safety, and QA/QC compliance.
- Allocate manpower and manage material procurement to improve site productivity.
Requirements and qualifications
- Mandatory bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 10–12 years of MEP project leadership experience, including a proven main-contractor track record.
- PMP or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
- Expertise in HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, lighting, and electrical interfaces with civil works.
- Understanding of regional construction regulations and local utility approval processes.
- Strong conflict resolution, leadership, and multidisciplinary team-management skills.
