CSCEC Middle East is recruiting MEP Estimation Engineers to join its company head office in Dubai.
Tender and cost estimation responsibilities
- Analyze schematics, tender drawings, specifications, bills of quantity, contract conditions, and other relevant documents.
- Check file integrity, list missing documents or information, clarify scope of work, and identify special systems or requirements.
- Check tender submission requirements and sort the latest drawings, specifications, and BOQs for each system.
- Send enquiries to listed and alternative suppliers, follow up closely, and provide timely feedback.
- Check scope and technical compliance, minimize exclusions and deviations, and negotiate the best offer.
- Complete comparison sheets, add costs for missing items, and select quotations to use.
- Price further-developed BOQs and summarize project budgets by system.
- Check costing for errors, prepare cost analysis documents, and highlight risky or uncertain items.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
