MEP Coordinator / MEP Engineer

Job Summary

1.System & Interface Coordination

• Coordinate HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, fire alarm, firefighting, ELV, and BMS packages.
• Review MEP shop drawings and ensure seamless, clash-free coordination with architectural and structural layouts.
• Identify spatial/technical clashes and work directly with the BIM/shop drawing team for immediate closure.

2.Authority & Documentation Workflows

• Coordinate with specialized authority consultants for ADDC, ADCD, DMT, telecom, and related local approvals.
• Track MEP material submittals and drawing approval logs to support fast-track delivery.

3.Site & Subcontractor Supervision

• Attend MEP coordination meetings and enforce site execution milestones with MEP subcontractors.
• Ensure high levels of MEP site productivity and inspect ongoing installations prior to consultant review.

Qualifications And Skills

• **Experience:**
• 7–10 years of construction MEP coordination experience is required.
• **Project Track Record:**
• Proven background working on high-rise residential projects.
• **Technical Skills:**
• Deep technical knowledge of integrated building services (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire systems, ELV, and BMS).
• **Soft Skills:**
• Strong interdepartmental collaboration, problem-solving, and coordination capabilities.
• **Location Asset:**
• Strong familiarity with Abu Dhabi authority workflows (ADCD / ADDC) is highly preferred.
