About The Role
Naoero Medical Center is seeking a detail-oriented and organized **Medical Record Keeper** to manage and maintain accurate patient health records.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize both electronic and paper-based medical records
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely updating of patient records
- Retrieve medical information for authorized healthcare staff when needed
- Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with hospital policies
- Assist in data entry, filing, indexing, and record archiving
- Support audits, reporting, and compliance requirements
- Ensure proper coding and classification of medical documents (if applicable)
- Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams for record requests
- Monitor record tracking systems to prevent loss or misplacement
Requirements
- High school diploma or diploma in Health Records / Medical Administration (preferred)
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in medical records, health information management, or healthcare administration, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, data entry systems)
- Understanding of medical terminology is preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow data protection policies
- Good communication and teamwork skills
