Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality & Compliance Officer to support and maintain quality improvement initiatives, regulatory compliance, and accreditation standards across our hospital operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate quality improvement programs and patient safety initiatives.
  • Conduct internal audits and compliance reviews to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support hospital accreditation processes and quality management systems.
  • Track, investigate, and report incidents, complaints, and non-conformities.
  • Develop, review, and update hospital policies, procedures, and quality documentation.
  • Analyze quality indicators, clinical data, and performance metrics to support continuous improvement.
  • Conduct staff training and awareness programs related to quality standards, compliance requirements, and patient safety.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for hospital leadership and regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical departments to drive quality initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Nursing, Public Health, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in healthcare quality, compliance, accreditation, or hospital operations.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare quality standards, patient safety principles, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with hospital accreditation programs and quality management systems.
  • Excellent analytical, auditing, documentation, and reporting skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality reporting tools.
  • Willingness to relocate to Nauru if applying from overseas.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in hospital accreditation standards (JCI, ACHS, ISO, or equivalent).
  • Certification in Healthcare Quality, Patient Safety, Risk Management, or Compliance is an advantage.
