Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dentist to join our healthcare team in Nauru.
The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care, diagnose and treat oral health conditions, and contribute to improving overall patient well-being in a community-focused hospital environment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat dental and oral health conditions.
- Perform routine dental procedures including fillings, extractions, scaling, and root canal treatments.
- Conduct dental examinations, X-rays, and treatment planning.
- Provide preventive dental care and patient education on oral hygiene.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, sterilization, and clinical protocols.
- Work collaboratively with medical and nursing teams when required.
- Manage dental emergencies and provide timely treatment.
- Maintain high standards of patient safety and care quality.
- Stay updated with advancements in dental practices and technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry (BDS or equivalent).
- Valid dental license to practice in relevant jurisdiction.
- Minimum 5–10 years of clinical experience as a practicing Dentist.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical treatment skills.
- Experience in general dentistry and minor oral surgical procedures.
- Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently in a hospital or clinic setting.
